The IUCN UK Peatland Programme is to focus on ‘Creating a Legacy for Peatlands’ in what is to be its 2016 conference. Having taken a break in 2015 following the conclusion of its previous series of conferences on ‘Investing in Peatlands’, this highly anticipated conference will focus on how we as a nation can improve the state of our damaged peatlands and ensure no further deterioration.

On Saturday 22 October the newly completed Flows Field Centre in Forsinard will open its doors to the public for the first time. This open day will give people the opportunity to explore the new centre and take part in a whole host of activities.
