International Call for Peatland Action - Outcomes of the workshop 'Peatland Restoration: a nature based solution to climate change' at the IUCN World Conservation Congress, Jeju, South Korea on the 7th September 2012.
At the IUCN World Conservation Congress in South Korea, delegates have been discussing the important role of peatlands in helping tackle climate change. Calls were made for urgent action to conserve and restore peatlands with the IUCN taking key role in helping countries to meet this challenge.
