Professional Training - Peat in Planning

Join the Project’s ecologists and Welsh Government for a look into peat and how to consider it in the planning process.

This webinar will provide an introduction to peat, what it is, how it functions and what the concerns are for development. It will provide an insight into the recent changes to Welsh planning policy, discuss the expectations for planning submissions as well as looking at some of the pitfalls and issues encountered in mitigating impacts on peat in Wales.

There will be an additional optional site visit on the second day to consolidate learning, however spaces are limited and will be assigned to the first 20 tickets holders that request a space.
