Annual Convention and Symposium of the International Peatland Society

The Annual Convention and Symposium of the International Peatland Society (IPS) will be held at the Mariott Hotel in Aberdeen, Scotland in May 2017.

Under the theme “Responsible management of drained peatlands”, the Symposium held 28-31 May will embrace the most recent scientific research, technical developments and practical activities on agriculture and forestry on peatland, responsible peat production and peatland restoration.

As well as a series of keynote presentations and workshops, the programme will include a choice of field excursions and a gala dinner.
