Peatland ACTION, Scottish Natural Heritage's peatland restoration project, has received a top accolade at the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) Awards held earlier this month, winning the best practice in large-scale nature conservation award.
The award reflects and acknowledges the hard work, commitment and innovation of the staff, volunteers and land managers behind the project over the past four years.
The annual CIEEM Awards Ceremony was held this year in Birmingham.
