Join North Pennines AONB Partnership Senior Field Officer Alistair Lockett on Tuesday, 2 March 2021 at 7pm for an online look at Sphagnum moss.
This often overlooked, extraordinary moss is tackling climate change, mitigating flooding and was even used during the First World War to protect soldiers. Alistair will cover ecology, interesting facts about Sphagnum, Sphagnum and peat in the horticultural industry, and how it is being used to combat climate change. You will receive a Zoom link by email approx. 24 hours before the event.
