Philanthropic and public funding is critical to restoring our natural environment but they won’t be enough. To restore nature at the scale and pace that’s needed, securing more money is crucial. Together with Defra and the Environment Agency, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation funded four pilot projects to protect and restore valuable habitats and explore opportunities to fund restoration in different ways.
In this webinar, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation will be sharing learning from the four pilot projects as well as more on the challenges and opportunities of innovative finance models for restoring nature.
